Shane is a Partner in the Audit & Assurance team, based in Perth.  He has over 20 years experience in accounting and commerce and has diverse experience in advising private and public listed company clients in relation to their audit requirements.

Shane has particular expertise in providing advice and guidance to clients in relation to the application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Australian Accounting Standards to their particular circumstances.

With experience in working in the commercial sector and public practice, Shane has a unique ability to understand client issues from a technical and practical perspective, providing advice that is commercial in nature and delivers a timely and effective solution.

Shane's experience extends across a number of industries including; resources, manufacturing, aged care and not for profit.  He has been responsible for the audit of private sector and non-corporate clients, listed companies (ASX, TSX, AIM and LSE), trusts and associations.

Prior to joining PKF Mack he was a Senior Manager of Audit within a large international accounting practice.  He has a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University and is a registered company auditor.  Shane is also a member of Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand, the Governance Institute of Australia and the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).

Away from the desk, Shane's family keeps him busy with his daughters involved in rowing and netball.  He is a loyal West Coast Eagles supporter and also an active member of the Ballajura/Malaga Rotary Club.  Shane's contributions to Rotary were recognised in 2014 when he was awarded the Paul Harris Fellowship for his contributions and commitment.
