It's always good to get out of the office and spend time getting to know your workmates in a more social setting - it's even better if you can do some good for the planet while you're at it.
Our team enjoyed a recent afternoon at Native ARC in Bibra Lake, a volunteer organization that rehabilitates sick, injured and orphaned Australian wildlife. In 2013, Native ARC admitted over 2,200 native animals that needed care - and this number is only expected to increase.
The team got their hands dirty painting the kangaroo house, upgrading duckling enclosures and re-netting waterbird enclosures. Native ARC welcomed the many helping hands - in one afternoon, our team completed work that would normally take Native ARC months to finish without the help of volunteers.
